Right-Click Order Entry (Back to Index)
With the
cursor over the quote window, right clicking gives you a number of order entry
options.
First,
make sure that the contract you want to trade is selected in the Quote Window. Then
select the quantity of contracts you wish to trade. Then with your cursor over
the quote window, right click. This gives you the choices shown below:

In the
example shown, clicking BUY (Join) the BID will return a window asking you to
first select a month. Then after you enter the month, a trade ticket will be
populated with a limit order to buy September E-Mini S&P 500 (ESU3) at the
current bid, or 995.75 in this case. The quantity shown in the trade ticket
will not change from what was already entered.
Right
clicking also enables you to load a trade ticket based on the contract selected
in the Quote Window. So if you clicked on Load Ticket in the example shown
above, it would populate a trade ticket, but in this case would automatically
load the month (September in this case), and would set a market order in the
Order Spec window. You still have to select the quantity and BUY or SELL.
Quick Trade
Loads the Quick Trade Window.
Delete from Quote List
Simply
deletes the commodity you select in the quote window. You can bring a commodity
back into the quote list by selecting it in the Market
Selection window.
