1. If you don't have BEST Direct Loaded on you system: Download a full version of BEST Direct from the PFG download page (7.0 Full Version).
Then install the program.
(If you currently have a version of BEST Direct running, you can skip this step and go to step 2. Before downloading the update file, be sure to write down your access key number. You can check this number by going to the "Help" dropdown menu in BEST Direct and select "About.")
2. Once the full version of BEST Direct is installed, download the BEST Direct update file and save it into your "Best" folder. The trade.exe file is an update to the BEST Direct program that enables the eSignal integration to function.
3. When you open this version of BEST Direct, it should automatically prompt eSignal to open as well. BEST Direct has to be opened before eSignal is opened, or the integrated trading functionality will not work.
4. To attach the order ticket in eSignal:
--call up an advanced e-mini S&P chart
--go to the "Trade" dropdown menu
--select "Attach Order Ticket."

You should then see the eSignal trade ticket attached to the chart:

5. Make sure that the correct futures symbol is loaded in the order ticket. E-signal normally defaults to equities, so you'll have to be sure that the futures category is selected, and that ES M4 is selected in the order ticket (or whatever futures symbol you would like to load.)
6. To enter a trade, select the quantity you want to trade, the order type and price, and the Expiry (GTC, day), and click Buy or Sell. When you do this, the trade will be routed through BEST Direct and into the market. **Please note that once you click buy or sell in the eSignal order ticket, the order will be routed through BEST Direct and into the market. You won't receive a Trade Confirmation pop-up window prior to order entry into the market.**
When you place your trade, the BEST Direct Order Management window will be highlighted in the application bar at the bottom of your screen. You can click on that bar to check your order in the BEST Direct Order Management screen.

7. When your order is filled, you will see a regular Filled Order Confirmation Screen.
Order Ticket Designer
You can create customized order buttons in eSignal using the Order Ticket Designer Window, available from the Trade dropdown menu.

You can customize different order buttons to suit the different types of orders you might use frequently. For example, let’s say you created a customized view for the E-mini S&P 500, and wanted to set a Buy Stop 2 points above the market. You could create an order button specifically for that.

You simply have to select the view that you named from the dropdown in the attached order ticket, and your order button then appears.

**Please note that when you click on the order buttons that you have setup, it will enter that order directly through BEST Direct and into the market. You won't receive a Trade Confirmation pop-up window prior to order entry into the market. You might want to consider this when you create customized order tickets. If you don’t pre-select a quantity when creating your customized order ticket, eSignal will prompt you to enter a quantity when you click on the hot button.**
